Musical Learning opportunity

  • Offer music theory basics through sectional work. 

  • Offer session on vocal technique.

  • Offer opportunity for solo work.

Mentorship/friendship

  • Encourage the development of friendship and social support within the choir as a whole.

  • Offer increased opportunity for connection through organized sectional session work.

  • Provide opportunity for designated choir members to serve as mentors - section leaders.

Investment

  • Invest in the community through fundraising with donations at performances designated to community groups.

  • Seek opportunities for the Athabasca NLSS to perform and invest in the broader Athabasca region.
